“I really enjoy the variety of things I get to do as a general dentist; I can help someone through a dental emergency, and also share in the joy of a confident smile.”
Dr. Allison McMillen graduated from St. Olaf College with a chemistry degree. She then attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and graduated in 2016. After working as a general dentist for several years in the Twin Cities, she is glad to be serving her hometown community in Woodbury.
Dr. Allison is an active member of the American Dental Association Minnesota Dental Association, and the Minneapolis Dental Association. She enjoys serving on the Constitution, Ethics, and Bylaws committee as well as advocating for dental related issues at the state legislature. As a dedicated lifelong learner, she is involved in a Spear Study Club as well as attending conferences both locally and nationally. She also volunteers regularly at the Hope Clinic.
Outside of the office, Dr. Allison enjoys starting each day walking her black lab. She enjoys biking and paddleboarding in the summers, and cross-country skiing in the winter. Always seeking new experiences, recently she picked up rock climbing, and is always making new recipes at her home in South Minneapolis. She will be married in September to her fiancé, Allen.
