George J. Kinney, Jr., DDS

 
Dr. Kinney graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1969. He served two years as a Dental Officer in the U.S. Navy, returning to Minnesota in 1971. This Woodbury practice was started by Dr. Kinney in November 1973. He and his wife, Julie, and their two children have lived in the area since that time.

Dr. Kinney has served as President of the Minnesota Academy of General Dentistry. He also was President of the St. Paul District Dental Society and received the society’s 1999 Outstanding Service Award. In 1990 he was appointed by the Governor to the Minnesota State Board of Dentistry and served eight years, including two years as President. He is also an examiner for Central Regional Dental Testing Service.

A member of Woodbury Lutheran Church, Dr. Kinney enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, the Minnesota Dental Association and the St. Paul District Dental Society. He has received advanced dental education at the world-renowned L. D. Pankey Institute and serves on the 3M ESPE Dental Products Division advisory panel.
